Glamping on Lake Kopyto, six kilometres from the ring road. Ten bungalows, four of them with their own wood-fired banya, fifteen safari tents at the water — and little else on the schedule.
Lake Kopyto lies on one side, the Moskva river on the other. A wooden boardwalk runs the whole way round the island, past the lindens and the weeping willows, out over the water. You can spend a whole day doing nothing at all — that is rather the point.
There is a rate with breakfast and a rate without; breakfast is served in Trapeznaya. Each house has its own parking space and its own mangal. Food can be ordered from the Syrovarnya restaurant.
A canvas tent on a wooden deck over Lake Kopyto. A real bed, water and power inside the tent, an infrared heater and electric blankets for cold nights. Showers and toilets are in the reception building — separate for men and women, a short walk away.
A house of your own on the quiet river that runs through the grounds, with a terrace facing the water, a mangal beside it and a wooden fence for privacy. Inside there is its own shower and WC, and warm floors underfoot.
House 7. A new house on the quiet river, with its own wood-fired banya and a heated jacuzzi out on the deck. Sleeps two, with a third guest for an extra fee.
House 1. A wood-fired banya in its own building, and a plunge pool on the river that belongs to this house alone.
House 2. A wood-fired tub hanging on chains above the ground, next to your own steam room. Warm water all year round, and one firing of both the banya and the tub is included.
House 12. A large banya that seats six or seven, and a wood-fired plunge pool on the shore of Lake Kopyto. One firing of both is included, and you can invite guests into the banya until 22:30 at no extra charge.
The flap is open and the lake is two steps away. Nobody is in a hurry to leave the table.
The restaurants, the horse rides, the huskies, the quad bikes and the children’s club run all year — summer and winter alike. Only the safari tents are seasonal, from May to October.
Steam from a real wood-fired stove, a plunge pool and a terrace to cool down on. One firing is included, and further firings can be arranged at any time.
A tub heated with wood outside your bungalow. Best after dark, in rain or snow — it only gets better.
Pike, carp, bream, roach, perch and zander, in our own lake. Fishing is paid, by the day, and rods, feeders and spinners are available for hire on site.
Boards and catamarans on the water, bicycles for the paths around the island and along the river. Take them for an hour or for the whole day, with extra water gear if you want it.
Breakfast can be added when you book. Every house has its own mangal — grilling here is a ritual, not a chore.
Horse rides around the island and along the river. Huskies on snow in winter and on wheeled carts in summer. Quad bikes and swamp buggies with instructors, and the Ostrov Detstva club for children. All of it runs summer and winter alike.
Syrovarnya, for cheeses made on the grounds and farm dishes — open all year, and you can take fresh produce home with you. Breakfast is served in Trapeznaya, on the rate that includes it.
A party tent with a stage and a dance floor, a bonfire area, gazebos by Grafsky Pond and a terrace over the water. A party tent for up to thirty guests, a fire circle for twenty-five, football and volleyball fields. Up to four hundred people for a celebration, and seventy-five of them can stay overnight. Weddings, birthdays, team days and graduations.
